Powering the Apache RTR 200 is a 198cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor that develops 20PS and 18.1Nm of torque. Currently only the carbureted version is on sale, while the fuel-injected variant is expected to be launched by late 2017. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Handling dynamics of the Apache range has always been its hallmark and the Apache RTR 200 gets a double cradle frame which is suspended on telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. The bike is also offered with two tyre option – the stock TVS tyres and optional Pirelli tyres. Given the marginal premium the Pirelli rubber demands and the performance advantage it offers, we suggest you opt for them. The RTR 200 gets disc brakes at the front and rear, while ABS is expected to be offered as an optional extra by the end of 2017.
