The Renault Kwid prices range between Rs 2.61 lakh-3.83 lakh for the 800cc versions and Rs 3.58-4.94 lakh for the 1.0-litre versions (all prices ex-showroom New Delhi). The Renault Kwid Climber, which is offered only with the larger 1-litre engine, is priced at Rs 4.29 lakh for the manual version and Rs 4.59 lakh for the AMT-equipped model. The Renault Kwid features list includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, digital speedometer, a dual-tone dashboard, AC, power steering and a front wiper with intermittent speeds. Safety features comprise an optional driver’s side airbag, central locking, front seat belts with pretensioners and child safety locks. The French carmaker also offers a host of customisation options with the Renault Kwid such as decals, seat covers, body cladding and more.The Renault Kwid is available in five main variants - STD, RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber. While the 0.8-litre petrol engine has a claimed mileage of 25.17kmpl, the 1.0-litre petrol returns 23.01kmpl. Interestingly, the Renault Kwid AMT, has a claimed mileage of 24.04kmpl that’s higher than the manual variant.
Renault also launched two special editions of the Kwid, inspired by Marvel super heroes Iron Man and Captain America, at Auto Expo 2018 in February. The new limited edition cars cost Rs 29,900 more than the standard RXT 1.0-litre variant. The changes in these editions are purely cosmetic with no alterations on the mechanical front. Based on the 1.0-litre version of the Kwid, the Super Hero editions are available with both manual as well as automated manual transmission (AMT) options. Know more about it here.
